One man’s quest to build a new kind of submarine.

For fifty years Peter Robins has dreamt of building his own submarine. Inspired by Jules Vernes science fiction classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, he has long fantasized about exploring the underwater world. This film follows the small team dedicated to turning Peter’s dream into a reality. Capable of taking five passengers and a pilot the submarine, called Alicia, will be the first of its kind, with the largest transparent pressure hull ever made. It’s a revolutionary design and the team face some difficult challenges as they struggle to turn science fiction into reality.
