A young Englishman attempts to run the Iditarod race from Anchorage to Nome

Every winter, Alaskans commemorate a life-saving journey undertaken by husky dogs in 1925 by racing their dog teams from Anchorage to Nome along the famous Iditarod Trail. The Iditarod is the Olympics of dog mushing, the longest and toughest dog sled race in the world. This film follows the emotional journey of Edward de la Billière as he and his dogs attempt the gruelling thousand mile trip in the wastes of northern Alaska.
